West Bank 2007. Remnants of Banksy's ladder on upper right of Wall.

Panorama of the West Bank Apartheid wall taken a few years ago with the help of my dad. Remnants of a Banksy painting can still be seen. You can see the top of the ladder on the right hand side. There was a child painting the ladder at the base of the wall. More on Banksy in the West Bank:

John Kricfalusi, creator of Ren & Stimpy drew me a picture :) To My Best Friend Ever, Nader!

John worked with us at Reel FX for a while and I got to pick his brain. The most interesting thing I learned is that the distressed look of some of the Ren & Stimpy cartoons was a result of a volcano blowing up in the Philippines. The volcano ash got into the frames. The result of which is the splotchy, gritty feel of some of the cartoons.

I composed a song back in college titled "I Love You" using some Nintendo style synth and electric guitar. After hearing it, my good friend Nader put film he captured while in Spain to the music. That coupled with some After Effects wizardry brought about "1973", the new title to this audio and visual package.
